A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to a solid brass substrate. Nickel is similar to the polished chrome (silver) finish but with a slightly warmer tone. An unlacquered finish because nickel will not tarnish.
We still recommend that this finish is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth from time-to-time which will remove harmful deposits and maintain its original condition.
Warning: The chemicals in wet plaster and wet paint will rust our products. Only fit your new ironmongery when you have made sure that all new plaster is fully cured and paint has dried.
Also, we do not recommend using our products in coastal areas as the salt content in the air will rust all finishes. Only 316 marine grade stainless steel will not rust in this sort of environment and therefore our products cannot be guaranteed.
