Aged Brass - Brockworth Mortice Knobs - Anvil 83862

A classic pair of un-sprung solid mortice knobs, with fine and delicate beading to the rose and handle. A sophisticated and effortless design, accentuated by our aged brass finish. These knobs will tarnish in time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if you want to achieve a high sheen.

Suitable for Mortice only. Not for use with Rim locks.

Please note this product is also available in Polished Nickel. PF2188.

They have 8mm x 140mm spindle to take adjustment for various door thickness. Supplied with all the necessary fixing screws.

For best results the centre of the knob should be a minimum of 3'' from the edge of the door. Heavy Duty latches 4'' or 5'' are recommended for maximum efficiency.

Knob Size: Ø48mm
Rose Size: Ø58mm
Projection: 70mm

Aged Brass Finish - (For Internal or External Use)

To achieve the Aged Brass Finish, we accelerate the ageing process of the un-lacquered brass then re-polish. The result is a beautiful finish which highlights any dark detail on the product. To retain the original finish, regular polishing with a good quality metal polish is essential. However, if the intention is to allow the surface to age through oxidization, no attention needs to be given. Over time the brass will acquire a darker and more aged patina.

Warning: The chemicals in wet plaster and wet paint will rust our products. Only fit your new ironmongery when you have made sure that all new plaster is fully cured and paint has dried.

Also, we do not recommend using our products in coastal areas as the salt content in the air will rust all finishes. Only 316 marine grade stainless steel will not rust in this sort of environment and therefore our products cannot be guaranteed.
